International Hammers
WILLIAM JONES was the first West Ham United player to be capped for his country, representing Wales against England in 1902. The number of caps indicated are those that were awarded whilst representing the Hammers. JARROD BOWEN (England) at No.182 is the latest Hammer to be capped.
Note:
International debut number with an equal symbol (=) denotes two or more players made their international debut on the same day, not necessary with a fellow countryman.
Example:
Hayden Foxe (Australia) and Rigobert Song (Cameroon) both share No.73=. While Foxe was making his first appearance on 4 October 2000 versus Kuwait in a Friendship Tournament in Dubai, Song was playing for France in an international friendly at the Stade de France, Saint-Denis in Paris.
