I only found this site after talking to a customer of mine who used to play for West Ham. I'm not really a Hammers fan, but as a kid, they used to be one of my favourite teams. Seeing some of the names on here has brought back a lot of memories. Great stuff.
Steve, loving the website, I would love to actually see your collection (and Stuarts). Many thanks for your swift reply to my question, now I have to decide whether to keep or sell postponed 55 v liverpool. Keep up the good work. Regards, Pete.
Guys,
Your website is inspirational. Really well done to the creators. We are dead jealous!!!
This has to be the best football fan website “Ever”. The wealth of information and material on offer is unbelievable. Always something different to see each time I come back. Keep up the good work.
Brian
Great site, a must for any West Ham fan to bookmark. Keep up the good work!
Great site - although not a Hammer, it's great to see such a quality website which would be interesting for any collector.
I'm more than impressed with the number of 1969 US programmes as the Villa ones are murder to get hold of!
Keep up the good work and I'll be back soon!
Hi Steve, fantastic ste,ive just come from your previous site as i'm looking for references to players from when Ted Fenton was manager.Reserves and youth team players, or colts as i think they were known then.Ive been a fan for nearly all my 67 years and remember some good players that never got as much recognition as the usual stars. I'll be on quite regularly, cheers Ronnie.
First off Steve congratulations on this site, very well researched and presented. A bit of a long shot this but my Father in law Norman Bennett is trying to find out the names of fellow youth players who attended a 2 week coaching session at Lilleshall representing Liverpool in 1958 or 59!!! He can remember that it was run by Walter Winterbottom and one of the coaches going for his badge was Malcom Allison. He remembers that most of the Div 1 sides were represented by squads of youth players and the only other player he remembers is(Sir) Bobby Moore.Just wondering if any one has a list of names(just West Ham would be great) or can guide me in the right direction, thanks Regards Steve.
A fantastic site, full of all the things i have colected from the mid 1960's.
I have loads of chewing gum cards sets, loads of football stickers sets (FKS &Pannini),I have also got over 300 Coffer enamel badges from the mid 1970's.
Also i have got over 600 programmes in a cupboard.
One day i will get round to sorting out all my stuff.
Steve ,
congratulations on a great site , for an exiled Hornchurch hammer living in Scotland its great to be able to look into our history and remember all that makes our club the best (and sometimes the most frustrating) in the land to support !
thanks again
Colin

Thank-you Aaron, I've now updated the number of Match Labels in the set to 92, which would have been the full complement of the Football league at that time. However collectors of West Ham United Memorabilia will tell you that obtain an individual Hammers label the price seems to rocket, hence the valuation.
Hi,
Searching the web for dissultion details of UPEC Matches and came across your site. I see you have the UPEC 'Football League Club Series' No 87.
In the heading above the label you say Series of ?. I can answer that questionmark as the series totalled 92 - the last being York City.
By the way, although not a fan of the club, I have to say the layout and presentation of your site is excellent. Just one other small point. Individually, the labels are worth around 5 to 10 pence. The whole set of 92 is probably worth around 4 to 5 pounds at todays prices
Regards,
Aaron
great site with real supporter quality , went looking for big Als badges but thereis so much more , will continue to visit as I have only just scratched the surface
An excellent site Steve, and a goldmine for a memorabilia nerd like me. Hopefully there'll
be more to commemorate by the end of the season.
A lovely and full tribute to Ron Tindall Steve. I'd forgotten he was such a good cricketer.
Steve Always a pleasure to come back to your website. There's always something new to look at each time which is quite refreshing, please keep up the good work. Jay the Hammer

i would be amazed if there is another football fan website in the world that is more comprehensive.West Ham fans are the most loyal, long suffering and humourous in the land
Well done!
hello.
Love the site - very well done indeed and keep up the good work! I particularly enjoy the trade card stuff, which bring back very happy memories of primary school days in the mid-sixties (and the taste of bubblegum!). Oh my Moore, Hurst and Peters of long ago! - can still name all the players between 1965 and 1975... I must grow up one day soon.
Hi Steve
What an amazing website, and what a fantastic collection of memorabilia. How I wish I had saved even a fraction of what I have purchased in the last 60 years since I became a fan. If I can find anything hidden away that can enhance your magnificent site in any way I will surely forward it on by email.
Keep up the great work which obviously gives you a lot of pleasure, as well as the fans.
Regards
Alan

I am so very impressed,The whole site is an absolute treasure
Super website, especially when your'e trying to put an issuer or a year to a card,
Just wanted to drop you a line to say how impressed I was with the site. The quantity and quality of your memorabilia collection and especially impressed with your badges.
I thought I had seen all of the West Ham team group shots and all post 1958 home programmes but every time I visit your website I find something new! Today I found two first XI team shots and a couple of postponed home match progs from 1958-59! Without a doubt your website is not championship standard, definitely premiership. Pity the team on the pitch cannot match. 18th June 2011
Still quality, Steve! You've maintained the really high standards of your earlier website and added more - much, much more! I know that all the Hammers will fans find something of interest on here!
Congratulations on a fabulous website. One can see that it is made with passion and love for your club. Something only real fans can understand.
Keep on Hammering.
Greetings from Belgium
Jurgen

Steve and Stuart, Thanks for continuing this site. It is an invaluable source for us ardent West Ham memorabilia collectors. When you start putting the post War programmes up I will help you fill some gaps. Also when you decide to tackle the pre-War programmes (I know it's a monumental task) I would be glad to assist. Good luck guys. COYI Nigel (lafineart)

Hello Steve. Looking at your West Ham collection brings back so many happy memories when I used to go to the Boleyn as a boy in the early 1950's. I can't manage to get to the games these days. Do you have any photographs of players from around 1953. King regards Peter
Hi. I've just come across your site while searching for information about West Ham United and the Olympic bid. Very impressed with your collection and hope you will enjoy your new home in 2014? Joe
